FAQ
1Can a student pass allow work in Singapore?
Students with a valid Student Pass may work up to 16 hours per week during the semester (IHL students only). There is no limit on work hours during holidays. PEI students must meet specific conditions.
2How long is the student pass valid?
The validity period of a student pass typically aligns with the course duration and can extend for several years. Renewal must be applied for before expiration.
3Can family members accompany for study?
Some IHL students may be eligible for a Dependant Pass, but PEI students are generally not allowed.
4Can I stay and work in Singapore after graduation?
After graduation, you may apply for a Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) to search for employment. Once employed, you must convert it to an Employment Pass.
Important Notice
Student passes in Singapore must be applied for through the school; individual applications are not accepted. We recommend starting your document preparation at least 2 months before the semester begins to allow sufficient processing time. While holding a student pass, you must maintain good attendance and academic performance, as failure to do so may affect your renewal application.
